Marketing (Referral / Team)
This page explains how team building and referrals work in PolyStake.
1) What “team” means in PolyStake
In PolyStake, a team is built using invite codes:
- You share your invite code with new users
- They register with your invite code → they become part of your referral (marketing) chain
2) What referral depends on
Referral payout is tied to the registration inviter (not placement):
- If someone registered with your invite code and invests, you may receive referral
- Referral eligibility depends on your TIP (e.g., TIP2/TIP3 eligible)
- Caps apply
3) Important difference: Registration inviter vs Investment placement
In PolyStake there are two different relationships that are often confused:
- Registration inviter (marketing inviter) — whose invite code the person used to register (basis for referral)
- Investment placement — where the person placed their investment in the Yield tree (LEFT/RIGHT)
This means:
- Referral may go to USER A
- But yield placement may be inside USER B’s office (if the user chose a different investment invite code at investment time)
4) Example
- USER2 registers with USER1’s invite code → USER1 is the marketing inviter
- USER2 invests but chooses a placement code from USER4
Result:
- Referral logic considers USER1 (marketing inviter)
- Yield/XP logic considers the placement node — USER4’s LEFT/RIGHT office
