Reward Levels (weekly Yield payout caps)
This page explains the concept of reward levels: why a weekly limit exists and how it affects Yield payout.
1) What is a reward level?
A reward level (e.g., 1..4) defines the maximum Yield payout that can be paid to your account within a week.
2) Purpose of the weekly cap
- Payout generated from yield matching (carryYeld) can grow quickly
- The cap limits how much can be paid in a single week
- If carryYeld exceeds the remaining cap, overflow may not be paid (burn)
3) Example: cap and burn
Assume:
- Your weekly cap is 2000 USDO
- carryYeld = 2030 USDO
At payout time:
- Pay = 2000 USDO
- Burned = 30 USDO
